ART CENTER BACKGROUND

There is perhaps no other educational institution that has had a greater impact on automotive design than Art Center. For nearly 75 years, Art Center's graduates have provided leadership for the automotive industry and designed some of the most celebrated cars of all time.

It is estimated that more than half of the cars on the road today are designed by Art Center alumni, who include the current design directors at Ford, General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, BMW, Audi, Nissan, and most other major studios.

Strother MacMinn, Peter Brock, Chuck Pelly, Jack Telnack, J Mays, Larry Shinoda, Wayne Cherry, Grant Larson, Chris Bangle, Craig Durfey, Ken Okuyama, and Shiro Nakamura, are among the many well-known graduates of this internationally known institution.
