For the 18th time , the Concorso Italiano featured the largest display of Italian automotive heritage and history in North America. This year, the special features included a retrospective of the work of Pietro Frua - who would have turned 90 years old this year - a presentation of 40 years of Lamborghini, the US debut of the Lamborghini V-10 Gallardo, and much more. In a special display the automobiles of Ettore Bugatti - who was born in Italy - were honoured.

Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Bizzarini, De Tomaso, Fiat, Iso, Lancia, Maserati, Siata and other Italian marques occupied the green at the new location at Black Horse Golf Course in Monterey during the 2003 event.
