at the 2005 Monterey Historic Automobile Races
For the 32nd time, the Laguna Seca Raceway hosted the Monterey Historic Automobile Races.
This year, the Chaparral cars of the Texan engineer, racer and oilman Jim Hall were honored
as the featured marque. Another highlight was the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Roadster, piloted by by
Stirling Moss, who drove this exact car to victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia - 50 years ago.
