In a special showing twenty of the previous 'Best of Show' winners came back to Pebble Beach. One of six Bugatti La Royale's in existence, and the winner of the 1966 Concours d'Elegance, had been flown in from Germany to participate.

In another special showing seven of the fourteen original Talbot-Lago Teardrop Coupés have been united at Pebble Beach. This was the biggest gathering of these cars ever in one place.

Four of the Talbot-Lago Teardrop Coupés.

Although mostly built by Figoni & Falaschi,
no two Teardrop Coupés are alike.

This is not a Talbot-Lago Teardrop, but a Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic.
